How to Use:
The Flower Shop is an ideal space to be used by the Activity Coordinator and care staff to hold reminiscence sessions and suggested uses include:
- Flower arranging
- Potting plants to later to taken outdoors
- Which season would you expect to see certain flowers – seasonal or special occasions
- Scents and aromas – sparking memories of perhaps grass mowing, flowers, herbs
- x3 Flower planters
- Selcetion of flowers

BenefitsFor many people, shopping was part of their weekly, if not daily routine, loved by some more than others. Providing the opportunity to continue shopping benefits residents by giving them a sense of purpose, achievement and enjoyment. The shopping experience also adds additional benefits of increasing levels of exercise, leading to improved appetite; reducing levels of stress and anxiety, promoting better sleeping habits and helping prevent depression. The Flower Display opens up conversations regarding flowers and gardening, even nature in general – all reminiscent of days gone by. The experience can be very therapeutic and provide previously unknown information about interests that can be included in a person’s care planning for future engagement. Every care facility will have residents who are often walking around looking for somewhere or someone. There are many reasons why a person may walk around. This may include boredom, agitation, searching for someone or somewhere or even as a reaction to dealing with pain – providing destination points of interest can be great distractions and improve overall well being and quality of life
Standard delivery to UK mainland
Delivery rates only apply to UK mainland (not highland) additional postage payment may need to be collected prior to despatch.
General fixed rate £5 nett for any complete purchase
Standard delivery time is 1-2 days for stock items and up to 10 working days for bespoke items.
N.B. Certain items may incur additional delivery charges depending on size of the product and location of the delivery - this will be indicated within the product listing on the website.
We observe the standard distance selling requirements such that notification of a return must be made to us within 14 days of delivery of an item and then returned to Find in as-new condition including packaging within a further 14 days. If the item has been correctly supplied and without fault, the return costs and responsibility will fall to the purchaser. In the event that the product has been supplied incorrectly, is faulty, or has been registered as damaged on receipt, Find will refund the delivery costs once the item has been returned.
N.B. IN certain cases where standard delivery services are not appropriate, Find will arrange third party collection by negotiation.
