Reminiscence pictures - Museum Boards

We are our memories, which is why recalling them is such an important feature throughout our lives. At the end of the day, memories are the one thing we truly own and what makes each of us the person we are. They are our life story.

Unfortunately, memory is one of the most apparent things affected in many people with dementia. With new memories unable to form, and more recent memories often no longer accessible, the older, more deep-seated memories become the most recent that can be recalled and thus the events associated with them seem more recent, often to the extent where they become their current reality.
Anything which contradicts this reality is unhelpful to the individual with the dementia, so Find seek ways to support, rather than contradict that reality by creating environments incorporating objects and images which sit comfortably alongside these memories.
Our Reminiscence image library is full of scenes, products, places and people that are 'of an era' and chosen for their themes (to help with orientation) and content for high probability of recognition and association wth personal experiences.  This makes them exceptionally effective in stimulating memories and prompting conversations that are so valuable for increased interaction and supporting well-being.

Find Museum Boards, are manufactured with Class 1 and Class 0 materials and are compliant with the appropriate fire regulations. Please see the specifications tab within the product for more details.
