Activities

When someone is living with dementia they can often become stressed by what we usually regard as simple, everyday things. Often they may become defensive, and unapproachable. Appropriate activities can prompt interaction and help people to open up and feel more at ease. Our dementia-specific activities have been designed to improve communication, social interaction and provide appropriate levels of stimulation – all of which contribute to well-being and quality of life.

Orientation and Activities boards make attractive focal points displaying all sorts of information from today's date to anniversaries, events, and of course daily and weekly activities.

Used in strategic positions within a care setting, they will help people orientate themselves better and serve as reminders of things to look forward to.

Used in strategic positions within a care setting they will help people to orientate themselves with regard to the time of day and the time of the year and serve as reminders of things to look forward to.
