The colour contrast works in two distinct ways.

1. Contrast between the plate and the food
This helps the user to see the food on the plate. The immediate benefit is that people eat more food and feel more confident about eating.

We provide a pack of four different colours to allow
for a good contrast between all the food items.

2. Contrast between the plate and the table
This is equally important as it enables the user to see the edge of the plate. The benefit here being that the user can manipulate food better on the plate thus they will eat more. There is also a health and safety benefit as less food falls on the floor where it can be a hazard.

I think they look great...

"You see the smile on Helen's face when she goes to her room and sees her picture on the door, she knows straightaway that it's her room. I think it's a brilliant idea."
